Hu Jue-long was born in 1965. He is good at illustration and arts editing. He entered the cartoon circle in 1985 with his works the Change Club and Black & White Club. He also published the Street Board in Happy Cartoon. He is very sensitive with fashion and very particular with the clothing of the cartoon characters. The characters in his works wear jacket of the car players and antique glasses, which was very popular then and retro at the same time.
Kid Jerry has also served in the record industry. He helped to set cartoon sculpting for a lot of singers such as Zhang Qing-fang, Zhang Yu-sheng, Little Tigers, Li Ming-yi, Zhang Xinzhi, Zhao Chuang, Du De-wei, Aaron Kwok and Xin Xiao-qi. He also designed cartoon sculpting for Tetsuyo Komuro’s vocal concert. In Taiwan’s first Hip-hop collection, he created hip-hop cartoon with Taiwan local characteristics. There are large, cross page color cartoons in the collection which reveal features of Taipei streets. He has also revealed the hip hop style of Brother Iron Tiger incisively and vividly in his realistically and illusive painting.
